Apple And Caramalized Onion Toast
Who can say no to a crispy toast with extra everything?! This toast will make you wonder why you ever ate toast any other way.

Ingredients
Caramalised Onion
- 2 tbsp plant-based butter
- 3 large yellow onions
- 1/2 tbsp white vine vinegar
- 1/4 cups water
- 20 g fresh thyme

- 1 red apple
- 150 g plant-based mozzarella
- 4 ciabattas
Instructions
- Start by preparing the caramelized onions. Slice the onion into thin slices. Heat a skillet with plant- butter to medium heat and cook the onion until it has a nice golden colour, stirring occasionally.
- Lower the heat and add the vinegar and thyme. Let cook another 10-15 minutes. Add water and cook until the water has boiled off and the onion is really soft.
- Heat another skillet with oil to medium high heat. Split the Stacky's in half and cook for a couple of minutes on each side until they get a crispy surface.
- Slice the apple into thin slices.
- Toast the inside of the ciabattas.
- Assemble the toast by layering plant- mozzarella, stacky's, apple and caramelized onion. Heat a skillet to medium high heat (or use a sandwich grill). Cook until the plant- mozzarella has melted, and the bread has a nice golden color.
