Creamy Caramelised Banana Oatmeal
This caramelised banana oatmeal is cozy, creamy and delicious, the perfect breakfast! It’s topped with caramelised banana, dried dates, puffed quinoa and peanut butter.

Ingredients
Oatmeal
- 1 cups oats
- 1 cups plant-based milk
- 1 cups water
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
Toppings
- 1 banana
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp dreid dates
- 2 tbsp puffed quinoa
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
- Cut the banana in half. Heat a small skillet with coconut oil to medium heat. Add the banana (cut side down) and cook until banana in caramelised, about 7 minutes. Set a side.
- In a sauce pan, add all oatmeal ingredients (oats, plant milk, water, chia seeds and salt) and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the liquid, about 7 minutes.
- Top the oatmeal with the caramelised banana, dried dates, puffed quinoa and peanut butter. If desired you can also thin out the oats with a little more milk.
