CREAMY GOCHUJANG PASTA

Quick gochujang pasta, combining korean spice with Italian cuisine. It’s the perfectly spicy and comforting creamy.

Ingredients

Pasta
  • 300 g pasta of choice
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 spring onion, thinly slices
  • 3 tsp gochujang paste
  • 1/4 cups plant-based heavy cream
  • 1/4 cups reserved pasta water
  • 100 g plant-based parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Heat a skillet with oil to medium high heat and add garlic and spring onion. Cook until the onion softens.
  • Lower the heat to medium and add gochujang, plant cream, pasta water, parmesan and soy sauce. Leave to simmer until creamy, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the cooked pasta into the sauce and toss until well coated. Adjust with salt to taste before serving.
