STIR FRY TEMPEH NOODLES

Looking for a quick weeknight dinner, look no further. These noodles bring rich and comforting flavours in no time. You’re gonna wanna make these on repeat.

Ingredients

Noodles
  • 400 g noodles, of choice
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 200 g tempeh, crumbled
  • 200 g spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp light syrup
  • 2 tsp chili oil
  • 1 tsp crushed sichuan pepper
  • 3 tbsp water
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the noodles according to package instructions.
  • Heat a skillet with oil to medium high heat and add onion. Cook until fragrant. Add garlic and tempeh to the skillet and cook until the tempeh has a nice golden color.
  • Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Add the remaining ingredients (soy sauce, light syrup, chili oil, sichuan pepper, water, sesame seeds and salt) along with the cooked noodles. Toss until everything is well combined.
