Vegan Chocolate Oatmeal
This thick and creamy oatmeal is made with basic ingredients but tastes like a rich and chocolatey dessert. It’s simply a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast.

Ingredients
Oats
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 tbsp syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp plant-based chocolate protein powder (optional)
Topping
- 1/2 banan, sliced
- 50 g blueberries (fresh or thawed)
- 1 tbsp puffed quinoa
Instructions
- Combine oats, water, cacao, syrup and salt (optionally also plant protein powder) in a small saucepan.Heat to medium heat, stirring frequently (to prevent the oatmeal from sticking), until the oats turn thick and creamy, about 7 minutes.
- Pour the oatmeal into bowls and top with banana, puffed quinoa and blueberries.
